Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. She was born in South London. Both her parents have both been English. Her family was raised in the south London council estate, and when she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned the BA in acting. She was on stage in several productions as a student including the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe also starred as the title character in How to lose friends & betray people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport in ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series on ABC Revenge in two episodes. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show after completing one guest appearance on the first episode of season three. Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey during winters. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley was hooked on dance from that moment. Ashley continued to compete throughout high school with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and more. All of the major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
