Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor, who was renowned for her many different kinds of roles in films as well as television and the stage. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is an American Actress. She is most well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the popular television show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). The actress' daughter is June Lockhart. Her professional journey began early. Her first role was aged four, when she appeared on T is for Tumbleweed. The short film that dealt with a topic was selected for an Oscar award. Lockhart learned the business management skills of the company with her mother during the shoot. Lockhart was even in several Lassie episodes. The first film she appeared in came out as Dora in Jory in 1972. At age 18 she played one of the daughters Joan Crawford in 1972 television series The Sixth Sense. Joan appeared for the final time in the show. It is believed that Anne turned down the role in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter claimed the actress was his primary option for the role, but she refused. Anne does not remember being approached with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the role. One of her agents could have rejected the role in her name and without her knowledge. Glen Larson chose her initially and sent her a preliminarily written script. She would play in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. The character was not strong enough to convince her to take on the part. Glen developed a brand new character, Sheba, which was much more strong. She embraced the Living Legend's script after having read its first pages. The show ran for just one season. The show also featured her with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. In addition, she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
